Greenland gifted free access to Neil Young catalogue. Greenland thankful… but hoping for some happier tunes.

“Don’t get me wrong! It’s really nice of him, but he’s at least seen a picture of Greenland, right? Not exactly the kind of place that needs the harrowing, mournful sounds of painful memory.” Said the remote island’s Cultural Minister - Kikkeriaq Svenni. “I mean, were Stevie Wonder or Bruno Mars busy? Throw us a bone over here! There’s already pretty high depression rates, I think this might be a breaking point for some people.” The fabled Canadian rocker has let any Greenland resident access his entire catalogue for one year, hoping it will relieve some of the stress the island has been under. Svenni went on to say, “Stress? Sure, we’re stressed, but to replace it with bleakness? If I wanted to do that all I have to do is go for a walk!”
