Danielle Smith in talks to get her old diner waitress job back.

Edmonton -
“She was a good worker! At times a bit passive aggressive with the customers, but they’re not a picky bunch so it might work out.” Said Marty Lardman, owner of the Sip ‘n Bite diner in East Vancouver. After a crushing blow to Smith’s dream of wrenching Alberta way from Canada, the Premier is rumoured to be looking for an out. Appearing pro-separatist and staunchly federalist simultaneously while juggling a new energy deal with Ottawa that would be a huge win for her province, has left her with a credibility gap. One NDP critic put it more plainly – “She’s like Faye Dunaway in Chinatown, getting slapped across the face and blurting out, ‘she’s my sister and my daughter!’ Nothing is good enough for her, maybe a return to her roots in the service industry would be a good thing for a while. Hell, maybe they’re looking for servers at Mar-a-Lago!”
