Canada loses measles elimination status. Smith says Diphtheria is next, announces big parade.

Edmonton -
“It’s a great day for people who love freedom, and who believe in the right to ignore logical safety measures, especially when it comes to our children!” Said Alberta Premier, Danielle Smith. “We’re so proud to live a province that provides a choice! We know Albertans are tough and the human body will naturally take care of itself, without Ottawa sticking it’s nose in.” On Monday, the Pan American Health Organization stripped Canada of it’s status after failing to curb an outbreak of the virus for 12 consecutive months. Alberta had the most severe outbreak due to appalling vaccination rates. Ontario also saw a dramatic rise in cases. Premier Ford in Ontario is said to be trying to figure out a way to fight the spread but has been busy trying to push through beer sales in emergency rooms.
