WestJet to begin charging for flushable toilets.

Calgary –
“We thought charging passengers for reclining seats would be enough of a cash grab, but it didn’t quite give us the profit margin we were looking for, so asking for a few dollars to enjoy this unique WestJet service seemed reasonable.” Said an unusually calm WestJet service representative who went on to say, “We’re also looking at the possibility of a seatbelt fee.” In recent years, Canadian customers have faced a growing number of nagging add-ons for what most airlines would never consider a chargeable service. When asked about the legality of profiting from what should be considered a basic hygiene issue, a West Jet lawyer cut in on the call and responded with a sharp retort – “Hey, you’d eat an egg sandwich at the Calgary airport for 18 bucks but you’re complaining about a flush charge?”
