She was once the darling of the global theatre, the envy of the world stage... now, a shambling decrepit joke, chain smoking and cackling through chipped make-up, half drank bloody marys and Michelob beer cans, some spilled in front of a cracked make up mirror, coughing and trying to muster a smile but the damage has been done. It hung on, but time is cruel, and so is its current administration. “I was robbed and cheated”, wheezed the has-been. “Everyone has been cruel to me, taken advantage of me!” Former friends and family could only hang their heads and say – there’s only so much we could do, they made this choice, we have lives to get on with, as painful as this is. America raised its head one more time, eyes as black as coal dust to say “Am I great again yet?”
