Ottawa announces re-arranging of deck chairs at CBC.
Ottawa –
Before the incoming Conservative government turns it into a lumberyard, the Liberals have announced, “One last kick at the ‘ol legitimacy can”, at the CBC. After a months long and no doubt expensive study, Heritage Minister, Pascal St-Onge, will be announcing a new package of reforms at the network. A liaison for St-Onge’s office said “We’re replacing the current CEO with a stuffed owl. We feel this will save a lot of money for the taxpayer.” Other changes include an attempt to produce a TV program that people would like to watch. “Our study showed that this is a popular tactic used by other networks, so its time the CBC modernized… before most of the networks buildings are pot shops.”
