Man living in fridge box thrilled Toronto will receive 97 million to host FIFA.
Toronto –
After it was announced the province of Ontario would give the sizable amount of 97 million to help with the costs of hosting what will surely be a lose-lose for anyone who lives in the once affordable city, a jubilant chorus rose up form those affected by it most, Toronto’s soaring homeless numbers. “We just love soccer, to hell with affordable housing, shelters and legislation that would make it difficult to kick us out of our homes! GOAAAAAAL!” Said a mentally unstable man who once ran a profitable company until soaring rents and medication costs eventually lead to him living in an old Amana fridge box by the Lakeshore. “2026 is looking like a good year, I hope a discarded sweater blows by soon.”
